Eric Jansen is a 3D Software Engineer based in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. With a deep passion for computer graphics and expertise in asset pipelines, WebGL, and glTF technologies, Eric has established himself as a key player in the field of immersive digital experiences.
Over the years, Eric has contributed to various groundbreaking projects, including building character customization systems at Ready Player Me, developing in-house editor tools for web-first games at Flying Sheep Studios, and creating award-winning virtual platforms at Demodern for clients like PwC and Hansgrohe. His technical skills span from crafting scalable WebGL applications to optimizing 3D pipelines.
He holds a B. Eng. in Media Technology from Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences and has a diverse background ranging from XR, motion capture to image processing.
Eric continues to push the boundaries of 3D software development, driving innovation in both web and interactive experiences.
